A properly designed website will catch and hold a viewer’s attention and motivate an interaction such as purchasing a product, sharing content, or contacting you for additional service. Your website's appearance and ease of use affect the viewers’ perception of the quality and thus the quality of the company it represents. The content behind a website is the most important element and what ultimately brought the user there in the first place and what gets them to come back. However, the design plays a vital role in how that content is perceived and interpreted.
The user experience is composed of four components: interaction, information, visual appeal, and usability. Throw in the human factor and you have a positive experience for any user. Good UX design happens when we make decisions based on the understanding of the user and fulfilling their needs. You really can’t design experiences, but we can design for them. At the end of the day, the experience of the people we design for determines the overall success of the product at hand.
